Less Than 100 Days to U of M’s Football Season – Who Will Make the Biggest Impact on The Wolverines
Nick Baumgartner, who covers the Michigan Football beat for MLive.com, believes the trio of recent transfers joining the Maize and Blue this season will make the biggest impact of all the newcomers coming to the team in 2015. The transfers are QB Jake Rudock (from Iowa), CB Wayne Lyons (from Stanford), and P Blake O’Neill (from Weber State by way of Australia). Each become part of new coach Jim Harbaugh’s first class and first team.
John Beilein also made it official, 6’’10 German Moritz Wagner signed his official letter of intent to play for the University of Michigan Basketball Team starting next season.

Feeling Like a Movie – Try The Cinetopia Film Festival
The Cinetopia International Film Festival will present 150 screenings of over 70 films at venues from Ann Arbor to Detroit between June 5th – 14th. A free screening of the Spielberg classic Jaws (now 40 years old) will take place on June 11th at Maynard Street and Liberty. The screening will kick off the Ann Arbor portion of the festival and it will start at 9:45 p.m.
Going For a Walk – Why Not Head For “Top of The Park”
Top of the Park, part of the annual Ann Arbor Summer Series, launches on June 12th with a full day of concerts and events. Top of the Park encompasses over 130 events between June 12th and July 5th. The full calendar of performances and events is available at the Summer Series website.
“Summer Sings 2015” Kicks Off at Stamps Auditorium
The 22nd Season of the UMS Choral Union Summer Sings Program kicks off June 15th at Stamps Auditorium with a reading of Mozart’s Requiem. The series will include several events held around Ann Arbor between June 15th and August 3d.
Sonic Lunch at Liberty Plaza Presents Joshua Davis
Joshua Davis, a Michigan native (and who just finished third in the latest season of NBC’s series The Voice) will perform at Liberty Plaza at 12 Noon on June 11th as part of the Sonic Lunch series of concerts.
