Coach Jim Harbaugh will be taking the Michigan Football Team on the road to face Minnesota in a Halloween showdown starting at 7:00 p.m. Go Blue!

An Evening With Drew Barrymore

Nicola’s Books presents Drew Barrymore discussing her memoir “Wildflower” at the Michigan Theater October 28th starting at 7:30 p.m.

Barrymore started her career in blockbusters like ET and grew up to star in dozens of popular movies as an adult.  Her memoir deals with growing up in the movie business, becoming a star, and ultimately choosing to retreat from her fame.

Two Symphonies

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in c minor and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (Titan) on October 29th at the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium starting at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be conducted by CSO’s director Riccardo Muti and is part of the University Musical Society’s 2015 Season.

The combined University of Michigan Orchestra’s will present their annual Halloween Concert at Hill Auditorium October 31st starting at 2:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume or come as they are.

Hail “Julius Caesar”

The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre will be performing Shakespeare’s tragic play Julius Caesar at the University of Michigan’s Arthur Miller Theater on October 30th and 31st. The play will start at 7.30 p.m. on the 30th and 8:00 p.m. on the 31st.

The play tells the classic tale of what happened to Caesar and Rome after he was warned to “beware the ides of March.”

Sports Options for U of M Parents and Fans

Men’s Ice Hockey will play Robert Morris at Yost Ice Arena on October 30th starting at 7:35 p.m.

Men’s and Women’s swimming will host a dual meet with Penn State and Virginia at Canham Natatorium starting at 11:00 a.m.

Field Hockey will play Ohio State on Ocker Field starting at 11:00 a.m.

Men’s soccer takes on Michigan State at the UM Soccer Stadium starting at 5:00 p.m.

Men’s Ice Hockey will play Robert Morris at Yost Ice Arena on October 31st starting at 3:05 p.m.

This weekend The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase will be presenting Detroit Comedian Mike Stanley October 29th and 30th. Mr. Stanley won Last Comic Standing and has been recognized as one of Detroit’s up and coming comedians.
