The week of March 9th brings the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera “HMS Pinafore” and Moliere’s play “The Imaginary Invalid” to Ann Arbor.

Michigan Football

Coach Jim Harbaugh finished up this year’s Spring practices with the Spring game played under the lights at Michigan Stadium last Friday. Harbaugh has already inked a recruiting commitment for next year in LB Josh Ross as he begins his recruiting push for 2017 and beyond.

The HMS Pinafore

The University of Michigan’s Gilbert and Sullivan Society is presenting their production of the classic comic opera HMS Pinafore. HMS Pinafore is also known as “The Lass That Loved A Sailor.”

The opera will be performed at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theater between April 7-10th with shows at 8 p.m. on April 7th, 8th, and 9th and shows at 2 p.m. on April 9th and 10th.

The Imaginary Invalid

The University of Michigan’s Department of Theatre and Drama will perform Moliere’s farcical play about a self-absorbed, incorrigible hypochondriacThe Imaginary Invalid” at the Arthur Miller Theater on April 7-10th with shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on the 7th, at 8:00 and 10 p.m on the 8th and 9th, and at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on the 10th.

Sports Options for U of M Parents and Fans

The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase brings comedian Dale Jones to town on April 7-9th. Mr. Jones got his training as part of the famous Second City improv troupe and was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing in Season 6.
